About this property

This 1 bedroom/1bath condo is ideally located in the quiet residential end of the French Quarter on 1224 Royal Street. The building is East Lake style and is the most unique in all of the Quarter (and beyond) for its turned wooden balls and spindles. I especially love the front porch with a set back to have your morning coffee or chat with passersby at cocktail hour and watch parades go by. This location has a true neighborhood feel. The kitchen door leads to a large open rear beautiful courtyard space. The tall ceilings, original floors and wood work makes this East Lake home feel warm and historic. The in house laundry, nicely updated kitchen with a gas stove and full size appliances make cooking a realistic option. You can have dinner parties here with the included 6 top table. The condo has recently installed mini splits (one just brand new) and the owners also had a custom Murphy bed installed, so there are two beds in total--this makes having guests easy and creates space when not needed. The condo is a perfect one bedroom with plenty of space (723sqft) and would make for a fun second home retreat. First story means no stairs too! HOA dues are only $318 per month and the condo is sold fully furnished. Just move in and enjoy the fun!
